Social Dances Done @ D4D Events

We have a lot of opportunities to do social dancing in between our lessons....here are some we do at EVERY event. Our dances are dances that we know are done in dance halls and centers all over the world. We work real hard NOT to teach you a dance that we know the only place you will do this dance is in your city. One of our goals is to bring the world together - all in the name of dance.
For social dances, we use dances that are popular throughout the USA and Canada. We've put a * by dances we do at every event. These are the most popular dances across the nation. Next to a high level dance we will have listed the lower level for those who are new dancers less than a year or choose to do low impact. The other dances listed are dances that we use in different state events where they are currently popular in that area only or known by the local dancers.

We also split the floor at our event as some dancers are new and some are experienced. We call the experienced dance and then the easier dance so everyone dances. You do the dance that is your level of dancing. All high level dances below have an alternative low impact dance listed. All dances are linked to the step description so you can open and print for your learning or to jog your memory. Remember there is an * by dances we do for sure.

We will list the dances and the lower impact dance that can be used instead. If there are not two dances listed then we do not split the floor. We also WILL do a walk through of each dance prior to dancing it even in social dancing.
