I've been asked about the title of the song;
"Bet On A New America"

One morning I woke up so overwhelmed with sadness for the direction that our country was going in. I was so tired of all the fighting between the parties. There was a time that no matter what party won, we all stood behind the government with respect for the office. We might not be happy about the party that won, but we had respect for the office and when "push came to shove" like the photo on the left, it was "United We Stand" and we stood United...........as in 9/11/2001.

I began to pray for our nation and these words fell on my heart. I then called Paula Stefanovich and asked her if she would help me finish the song I was writing. I wanted it to mean something for those who loved America and wanted to see that what our founding fathers had died for would not be in vain. Paula had written a # 1 titled Jerusalem. I knew her heart was in the right place for God and Country.

With so many schools removing our history from their school curriculum I feel our "New" generation is going to grow up NOT knowing where they came from or how we got here. We are destined to repeat our past if we don't know our past OR how we over came the obstacles we encountered that made us GREAT!

So I thought, we can have a New America. We can re-NEW our faith, re-NEW our values, re-NEW our economy, re-NEW our Patriotism and take all that is old, precious and valuable and make it new again.

So join me in betting on a New America that is stronger and better than it has ever been. God Bless The USA!!
